Bio	Mike Clark came to VirTra after a 20-year career in Federal Law Enforcement. During his tenure as a federal agent he received numerous awards and certifications to include Emergency Medical Technician, Combat Lifesaver, and was an instructor in several law enforcement disciplines. Mike worked at his agency’s national academy just outside of Washington, D.C. as an instructor for firearms, defensive tactics, less lethal, active shooter response, and pre deployment training for agents working OCONUS. In September of 2018, Mike retired from federal service and came to work as a Law Enforcement Subject Matter Expert in VirTra’s training and curriculum development unit. He is an active competitive shooter, an NRA certified instructor and continues to train with other instructors in the firearms industry. Mike is easy to approach and prides himself on his ability to solve difficulties for struggling students. Mike is often an instructor, always a student regarding modern firearms tactics, techniques and principles.
